Sarah was born in London, England . She moved to Meanjin (Brisbane, QLD) with her partner (turned husband) in her early twenties, later settling in Cavanbah, also known as the Byron Bay area, Northern Rivers NSW. She rose to prominence as the Byron Bay and later NSW Poetry Slam Champion for 2022. She was invited to represent NSW in the Australian Poetry Slam Championship, performing at the at Sydney Opera House in 2022, where she was a national finalist. In 2023 she went on to record work for the ABC's Art Works TV show, the Poetry For Peace International poetry slam in association with UNESCO and has been commissioned to create pieces for various art organisations and progressive organisations.

A mother of two and experienced educator with a personal and professional background working with children and young people, Sarah loves to share the profound impact of storytelling with people of all walks of life; encouraging others to seek out their creativity and unearth their authentic voices. Sarah and her family live on a small farm and together they enjoy time in nature, creative pursuits, delicious meals and spending quality time with loved ones. Drawing on her success performing, writing and creating art and the profoundly positive effect this has had on her own life- helping her overcome feelings of isolation and low self-esteem- Sarah has developed a program of workshops crafted to help people amplify their voices and summon the skills as well as confidence required to share their unique stories and recognise their true worth. She offers these to people of all ages with specific exercises developed for young people and children.

Strong in the belief that language and communication are among humanity's most valuable tools, Sarah endeavours to provoke thought and promote empowerment in all of her work. Her performances, written works and educational programs are designed to prompt inquiry, challenge perceptions and shine a light on the value of listening to and attempting to comprehend new and unfamiliar perspectives. Her work is highly regarded and well-received for it's blend of astute observation, honesty, wit and Seuss-inspired sprinklings of rhyme and rhythm.

As well as having performed on national television, Sarah has appeared on live radio, panel discussions, podcasts and community platforms. She is currently working on the release of collections of her writings and recordings.
